We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer who will be part of the newly established Business Intelligence unit in sonnen. As part of our team, you will have unique opportunity to lead numerous initiatives such as process of data acquisition, development of the various datasets for end-users and build sustainable Business Intelligence Architecture for sonnen. The newly created unit will be a perfect environment for you to explore with the newest and most advanced technologies in the market such as cloud-based database management system and entire off-premise ETL implementation In our unit, we tend to get away from traditional Data Warehouse approaches and embrace new-age approach of establishing data lakes by combining various functional and non-functional data sources. Being part of a global company with the offices accross continents will provide you with the unique experience in collaborating with the international team and design BI solutions that will have an impact on sonnen business world-wide. What you'll be doing: Identify data sources and ensure that they have high data integrity Design and manage an ETL process (cloud-based) Assist in moving current on-premise BI implementation to cloud-based implementation Build conceptual and physichal data models Assist in architecting business intelligence platform for sonnen Lead and manage initiatives that ensure data consistency Enable self-service business intelligence Design data lakes (cloud-based) composing of functional and non-funcitonal data Design and implement data structures and data models Perform high level analytics that will help sonnen understand its core business and customers Your profile: You have at least three years of experience in Business Intelligence field You have at least three years of experience in ETL design and management using ETL tool such as Talend, Pentaho, Microsoft SSIS, Informatica or IBM Data Stage You are passionate about exploring different data sources such as Sales Force, SAP and various unstructured and structured data Gathering and documenting business requirements is something you follow with high interest In terms of designing Business Intelligence solutions you follow systematic-view taking into consideration all actors You are intermediate or advanced-level SQL programmer (Experience in T-SQL is recommended) You have an experience with front-end tool such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlickview or IBM Cognos (Tableau knowledge recommended) You have Python or PHP experience of at least two years We offer to you: The idyllic Allgäu or the city of Berlin.- Our two German locations offer the right environment for everyone.
