Job Description

YourTasks

The Digital Factory bundles Dürr's software expertise in the areas of digitization and Industry 4.0. We develop innovative software products and solutions that enable our customers to have highly efficient and resource-saving manufacturing processes - and not just with our machines and systems. When it comes to optimizing availability, quality or energy consumption, analytics applications that use machine learning processes as a technological basis are becoming increasingly important. We drive the development of analytics applications for painting and final assembly plants in agile scrum teams, in which experts from the fields of data science, data engineering, front-end and back-end development and quality assurance are represented. The core content of the applications is anomaly detection for process monitoring and the provision of predictive maintenance messages. During an internship you will take on the following tasks:

  • You independently carry out exploratory data analyzes and data visualizations in Python
  • You develop and implement machine learning algorithms in Python
  • You validate and test algorithms using production data from industrial paint shops
  • You support the integration of solutions into production systems and field tests

  • You are very interested in the field of data mining, data analysis and machine learning
  • You enjoy familiarizing yourself with procedural processes
  • You have very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English
  • You work independently and you have a strong team spirit
