(Senior) Software Engineer (m/w/d) - Data Platform

We are looking for an engaged, driven (Senior) Software Engineer who will help us shape the future of the data platform and take it to the next level. Our vision is to become as user-centric & efficient as possible by focusing on our stakeholders' feedback, optimizing the usability of our services, and automating every process to the most extend.

The team you will be joining owns Flix's central reporting and analytics products provided to everyone in the company as self-services. Flix is a data-driven company and our team is an essential part of this process. With a focus on modelling curated data sets provided via multiple platforms to our company-wide stakeholders we support people taking meaningful business decisions every day in every market. The team is part of the data platform cluster which provides central data-related infrastructure services to hundreds of internal users worldwide like PowerBI for data visualisation and analytics or data interfaces to feed critical third-party systems in Finance. At Flix we believe in an excessive DevOps culture and live by the principle of "You build it, you run it, you own it".

The members of the Business Intelligence team are colocated in Berlin & Munich and are mostly focusing on BI engineering topics. • maintain and develop ETL libraries in C#
• build & maintain deployment pipelines utilizing our software stack
• support BI engineers with ETL pipelines
• manage our security & networking setup
• migrate our existing on-premise solutions to the AWS environment
• consult users on best practices and solving issues with our products
