Software R&D Senior Engineer (m/f/d)

In this position you will be part of the Research and Development Team of Advantest's Premium SOC Test Solution - the V93000 IC Test platform. You will work in a cross-functional team consisting of hardware and software R&D, product marketing, solution architects and customer support. As an expert in SW engineering you will work on the development of new features for complex SOC test solutions:

• Developing software in C++ and Java on high performance Linux Systems
• Development of new features for the IC Tester platform
• Analyzing complex problems to propose and implement new solutions to leading edge technology problems
• Close collaboration with solution architects and customer experts
• Working with state of the art tools, development environments and realize new functionality in high quality

• Completed studies in the field of computer science or practical experience in a similar environment
• Strong programming skills in Java and C++

• Good Linux/Unix knowledge
• 3+ years of professional experience in SW engineering
• Deep understanding of software design patterns, architecture and methodologies
• Profound knowledge of OO software development methods and tools

• Experience in applying agile software development methodologies (eg, Scrum, Test Driven Development, etc.).
• Good understanding of ICs / electronic measurement technology
• Basic knowledge of software versioning tools (eg Git)
• You speak fluent English - fluency in German is a plus for us
• You have excellent problem-solving skills, proactively seek out new challenges, bring projects to completion independently, and interact with various stakeholders in the process
• You have an agile mindset and are interested in taking responsibility
