Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d)

What can you expect?

• You're part of a new team within the Gruner + Jahr IT department, that set itself the goal to make the advantages of using AI tangible and usable for the company

• You develop prototypes and ML production systems for future-oriented AI solutions for the media space, you monitor these and use your observations to continuously improve their performance

• You have the freedom to bring your own ideas for innovations and for the further development of our existing applications and services to life

• You are engaged in collaboration and knowledge sharing in the IT and Tech & Data communities within our corporation

• You like to think outside the box, to keep learning and to connect your insights to creative solutions

What do you bring to the table?

• Ideally, you have a degree in IT, maths, statistics or in a related field or you have comparable qualifications

• You have practical experience in software engineering of applications and models of classical machine learning as well as deep learning while using Python libraries like Scikit-learn, PyTorch, Tensorflow or Keras

• You are knowledgeable in developing and implementing cloud solutions (AWS, Azure or GCP) and in the usage of Docker and Kubernetes

• You're a very analytically skilled person, who loves to solve problems and can explain and visualize complex things in understandable ways

• You're comfortable to communicate in English – first contact with German is a plus
