We are looking for a Director, Business Intelligence & Analytics to help build out and lead the Analytics and Insights function within Usercentrics. In this cross-company leadership role, you will report to the VP of Finance, and will lead the company in adopting central data management and business intelligence capabilities to enable better business decisions and support our growth and scale. This includes consolidating historically disparate CRM’s, data archives, data architecture, data integration, and leading a new discipline of data-driven decision making.
Your Tasks
  • This role will lead the organization that enhances and delivers actionable insights to enable better business decisions
  • You will build and mature fundamental capabilities, skills and performance to prepare and support our growth and scale
  • Lead business analytics and initiatives that generate real time insights for the business - in a proactive way, that allows proactive execution
  • Build and run the technical infrastructure for BI (CRM, data warehouse, ETL, visualization technologies) together with your team
  • Build and maintain CRM infrastructure and content, and the GTM Tech Stack (including Salesforce strategy, vendor evaluation & implementation, data quality & architecture strategy, etc.)
  • Build and maintain the tools, dashboards frameworks, and systems necessary to establish KPIs for making data-driven decisions, on everything from territory design, quota assignment, GTM targets, performance measurement, compensation planning etc. to helping lead quarterly/yearly planning cycles
  • Provide actionable intelligence on full funnel performance on a consistent and recurring basis (trends, fundamentals, analysis). This requires understanding the marketing/sales process and analyzing related data on a regular basis (and building the views to monitor this, with alerts to ensure proactive action plans)
  • Build processes and data flows to measure and support marketing lead generation, qualification, conversion, and other pipeline metrics. Monitor real time issues and trends / build alerts accordingly
  • Define metrics, build systems and processes to measure performance of post-sales operations, including customer health scores, capacity and utilization models for implementation teams, accelerating time to go live, and retention metrics for customer success teams
  • Build processes and systems to accurately forecast revenue, team by team, rep by rep, motion by motion. Forecast to include pipeline/growth and retention with rollup across GTM teams.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify (in real time) the potential weaknesses in processes and propose improvements accordingly
  • Elevate customer data from static reporting to strategic assets, outlining the predictive analytics which inform business performance
You Bring
  • 5+ years in business intelligence/analytics and relevant tech stack including data warehouse, ETL, data aggregation and CRM
  • Extensive experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI (preferred)
  • Understanding of modern cloud data warehouse solutions (Azure(preferred), BigQuery,etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce data management and reporting (SalesCloud and Pardot) Being Salesforce certified is a plus
  • Outstanding understanding of B2B2C SaaS business drivers and how to drive value to the customer
  • Exceptional change leadership capabilities with demonstrated success leading new teams
  • Highly developed communication skills with the ability to story-tell using data
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Ability to “roll-up-your-sleeves” and implement best practices, processes, and structures to amplify the outputs of the team
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment that regularly integrates with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience building and working with a geographically distributed team
  • Proficient in advanced SQL and at least working-knowledge of Python
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, BI, Data or equivalent experience (not required)
