Data Engineer/Database Specialist (f/m/d)

For our customer, a large IT service company in the Travel & Logistics sector, we are looking for a "Data Engineer/Database Specialist (f/m/d)" to work on the project.

tasks

• Conception, design and implementation of the backend side of user-centric web applications based on cloud technologies (incl. interface development)
• Conception and construction of data type-specific databases - especially graph databases (AWS Timeseries, AWS Neptune, Neo4j)
• Creating database structures and designing and building interfaces between databases and systems (including data from heterogeneous peripheral systems)
• Transformation between design and development for implementation and advice on technical aspects of implementation

qualifications

Must-have:

• Profound development experience in web applications for productive environments, especially in the backend and with a focus on databases
• In-depth hands-on development experience with graph databases (e.g. AWS Timeseries and/or AWS Neptune and/or Neo4j)
• In-depth practical experience in the design and implementation of databases for productive environments using Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Deep hands-on development experience with microservices and microservice architectures

• Experience in the development of complex enterprise applications with a large number of heterogeneous peripheral systems
• Experience in agile software development, also in large development environments (e.g. according to SCRUM or SAFe)
• Experience in the parallel development of software components with different levels of maturity and development paths
