Your tasks
  • You independently carry out analyzes based on large, complex and multidimensional data sets and gain meaningful insights to support different departments and strategic business decisions
  • You transform complex, analytical relationships into simple, understandable and effective insights, messages and recommendations for action and communicate them in the company
  • You independently create dashboards and reports for various stakeholders throughout the company and are responsible for gathering requirements, data analysis and developing dashboards, as well as their quality control and validation
  • You will accompany all phases of model development in close cooperation with our data engineers and data scientists in order to further promote the success of MARC O'POLO (e.g. multichannel analyses, customer analyses, product development)
your profile
  • You have a degree (Master or comparable) in statistics, applied mathematics, economics or a related quantitative subject
  • You already have experience in using data analytics to support important business decisions (e.g. business/product/marketing analytics, business intelligence)
  • You are experienced in using data visualization tools (experience with PowerBI is a plus)
  • You already have basic knowledge of SQL and ideally some experience with programming languages ​​such as R or Python
  • You score points with a solid methodical knowledge of statistics
  • You have a quick grasp, very good analytical and conceptual skills and are very confident in dealing with numbers
  • You have initial experience in quantitative research
  • You place the highest demands on the quality of your work, work reliably, independently and in a structured manner
  • You bring initiative and a hands-on mentality and you want to work in a dynamic environment
  • You have very good knowledge of German and English
  • Flexible working at the headquarters or max. 50% per month in the mobile office (within the EU)
