Your tasks

• Working on one of the core components of the global Media Markt / Saturn Webshop
• Being responsible for creating search results in a datadriven, automated, and intelligent way
• Analysing our customers journeys in the web shop and understand their behaviour
• Supporting the customer in formulating a correct search query and understand what our customers need
• Responsibility for making the KPIs of the search transparent and analyzing them
• Developing and automating the solution in a cloud native environment
• Working together with our business departments and building up an understanding of the business process behind

Requirements

• Strong background in statistics and machine learning
• Proficient in data analytics languages (SQL, Python) and Frameworks (Keras, Tensorflow, NumPy)
• Experience in working with public Cloud Provider Environments (AWS, Azure, preferable Google Cloud, e.g., Bigquery, Cloud Build, Composer, Auto ML/BigQuery ML)
• Preferably experience with orchestration frameworks like Apache Airflow / KubeFlow or similar
• Preferably experience with MLOps and Git as well as experience in cloud deployment of ML/AI applications is a plus
• Basic experience in data visualization creation with standard solutions (Data Studio or Tableau)
• Experience in managing and delivering projects using Agile framework and identifying cross-dependencies in time
• Knowledge and experience with Software Engineering concepts (abstraction, inheritance, unit sesting, separation of data and code, exception handling)
• Experience with Recommender systems, Metric learning or Learning-to-Rank
