YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES
In the Digital Products Development team, you will be responsible for Big Data, AI and Advanced Analytics. The core topics of the team are the development of products for the process industry. The basis for this is sensor information from our pumps, which is collected in a specially developed IoT device and transferred to a cloud database.
In your role as Data Scientist IoT, you will take on the following tasks:

• Identification of new use cases as well as AI and machine learning technologies and methods
• Implementation of proof-of-concepts
• Development and implementation of innovative prediction algorithms in the time series data environment
• Evaluation of data with statistical methods and machine learning algorithms as well as optimization of data processing
• Continuous further development of the existing AI by analyzing data from the industrial environment (sensor data)

WHAT MAKES YOU EXCELLENT

• Completed studies in the fields of computer science, business informatics, physics, mathematics or comparable disciplines
• Sound theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of machine learning, deep learning and statistical modelling.
• Practical experience in using common databases and formats such as SQL, NoSQL, JSON and CSV
• Very good theoretical and practical knowledge of basic IT technology (e.g. Linux, VMs, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in using Python, C++, Tensorflow and Jupyter
• Confident handling of ADLS, Azure SQL-DB, Azure DevOps and GitHub
• Affinity for agile working methods
• Team orientation paired with the attitude to focus on the product and the wishes of the customers
