You are a passionate AI professional, who is enthusiastic about automotive electronics and wants to define the future in-cabin user experience.

Join our Automotive AI Lab as Principal Machine Learning Engineer. You will work in a team of specialists for embedded ML, AI/ML Frameworks, and MLOps. You will design and implement predictive processing load management solutions for automotive ECUs. As an expert for SoCs, neural processing accelerators, and embedded ML compiler frameworks, you will develop performance-optimized models for deployment on multiple SoC architectures and guide your peer teams in model optimization for our personalized sound, mixed reality, comfort, and security solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Develop system load analytics and predictive load management solutions for embedded systems’ performance optimization
  • Design and develop optimized embedded model deployment concepts and solutions for multiple SoC platforms
  • Design and implement solutions for concurrent embedded model deployment with your peer teams
  • Deploy and maintain ML compiler frameworks in DevOps and MLOps workflows
  • Support and guide multidisciplinary peer teams on embedded model deployment and optimization, ML frameworks, and workflow best practices

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or comparable practical experience
  • 6 years of industry experience and 2 years technical leadership experience
  • 3 years of applied engineering experience in machine learning, data science, and big data technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in machine learning, deep learning, advanced predictive modeling, statistical model development and embedded model deployment
  • Experience in software architecture and good understanding of SoC architectures incl. AI accelerators (NPU, GPU, DSP), embedded ML compiler frameworks, and hardware-specific model optimization
  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch and programming languages Python, C++

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in production-grade ML workflows
  • System design and system performance optimization experience
  • Experience in automotive AI/ML application development, efficient deployment, and automotive domain knowledge (e.g. Cockpit, Audio, ADAS, Connectivity)
