For a brand new digital platformIn the area of ​​further training we are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist (f/d/m).

Our location is in Freiburg im Breisgau , but you can flexibly choose your place of work within Germany . Because we work in the office as well as flexibly from home . For team workshops, however, you should be willing to travel and come to the modern office in sunny Freiburg. It's also worth it, according to Lonely Planet, the sunniest city in Germany is one of the top 3 travel destinations for 2022.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Agile and modern software development. Cloud-based, DevOps, automation, infrastructure as code, microservices, data-driven, APIs are not empty phrases for us, but we act accordingly every day
• You will become an important part of a highly motivated organizational unit that has lived Scrum as a process model for many years and understands basic principles such as continuous further development through regular Inspect & Adapt not just as empty phrases, but has them woven deep into its DNA
• Development of machine learning models and algorithms
• Application of statistical methods and modeling techniques
• Development of tools and processes for data preparation, analysis and presentation
• You work in the interface between development and business/specialist areas. You are also actively involved in the content-related discussion about the product and at the same time you can also implement this technologically with the team

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU:

• The will to make a difference and the openness to design and build things
• Several years of experience in the development of machine learning models and algorithms
• Experience with statistical methods and modeling techniques
• Experience with relevant programming languages ​​such as Python and R
• Experience with relevant machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or scikit-learn
• Very good knowledge of handling large amounts of data
• Experience with cloud technologies, Azure preferred
