Your chance:
Become part of our "Business Intelligence Competence Center" (BICC) in Global Controlling and play a key role in shaping our central analysis and reporting platform. Together with your 5 teammates, you will work on preparing the data from our various pre-systems and presenting it in a meaningful way. In addition to a modern infrastructure and established BI systems, you also have access to the diverse options of the state-of-the-art BI tool Qlik Sense. In cooperation with colleagues from BICC and the various departments, you will take on your varied tasks after an intensive induction and drive your own BI projects forward. Support us in further developing the business intelligence environment at LR and help us to provide our colleagues with insights,
These tasks await you:
- You are looking for an exchange with colleagues from different departments in order to absorb the diverse business requirements.
- Based on these requirements, you will develop new ETL processes and data models as well as dashboards, analyzes and reports in QlikView and Qlik Sense.
- The support, further development and administration of existing Qlik applications in the front and back end is also part of your area of responsibility.
- You create needs-based special analyzes and ad hoc reports, e.g. using database queries via SQL.
- In the case of system upgrades or performance problems, you work closely with internal IT and the software manufacturer.
- In order to promote user adoption, you give practical training and take on support tasks.
- You continuously analyze the existing processes and tools with regard to potential for improvement and evaluate technological developments in the BI environment.
What do you bring with you:
- You have successfully completed your studies in economics, business informatics, a comparable course of study or comparable training.
- You have a high level of technical affinity and extensive knowledge of SQL and at least one other programming language.
- Ideally, you already have some experience with QlikView, Qlik Sense or other self-service BI solutions.
- Very good know-how in dealing with MS Office and a structured way of working are a matter of course for you.
- You master the exchange with colleagues in German and English with ease.
- You are characterized by enthusiasm, flexibility as well as team and communication skills.
- Analytical and process-oriented thinking as well as accuracy complete your profile.
