Position Purpose:
The Center of Excellence "Business Intelligence" (CoE BI) is the link between business and IT service providers and, in the course of creating BI applications, brings together information from a wide variety of data sources and makes it available to decision-makers in the organization in processed form with the help of advanced BI systems.
The CoE BI is responsible for coordinating the infrastructure with the IT provider(s), including the required interfaces, but not for the quality of the data captured in the upstream systems themselves.
The primary objective of the role is to provide full support and project work in the Center of Excellence Business Intelligence, mainly the development of stories/applications in the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), administration of the setup of the SAC, integration of the Apos platform as well as support of Finance Transformation reporting as well as FME25 reporting.
Furthermore, this role is responsible for BI processes & services and maintaining corresponding result documents (SAC user documentations, SAC LifeCycle Management & SAC Authorization concepts).
Your AssignmentsYour Profile:
At least 3-5 years of professional experience
Knowledge of project management
Very extensive experience in the implementation and support of management information systems, standard reporting & data visualization
Multi-year experience in a strategy consulting firm (min. 4 years)
Extensive knowledge in machine learning, mathematical modeling and predictive as well as prescriptive analytics
Experience in BI projects & leading them, if necessary as subproject manager
Multi-year (min. 4 years) knowledge in SAP BI frontend tools, BI backend systems (preferably SAP Business Warehouse) or similar BI tools
Experience in the development and implementation of a BI strategies, BI templates & governance processes
