This is what awaits you
As Head of CoE Data & AI, you report directly to the COO and drive data-driven change. You lead the Core AI team, which is responsible for the central AI platform, and the Data Enablement & Project team for operational data governance and project control. You are also the product owner of the agile data delivery teams in IT.

  • In your role, you are the link between departments, governance, top management and the international Zurich Group
  • You are the professional and technical owner of the AI ​​platform as well as the professional owner of Zurich's central data architecture
  • You advise senior management on all topics related to AI and data, especially with regard to opportunities and risks
  • You are responsible for the further development of the agile working methods of the data and AI teams
  • With your know-how, you will be responsible for prioritizing and monitoring data and AI requirements
  • You ensure operational excellence in the sense of specified DQ metrics for the specialist departments and control functions of the Zurich Group Germany and the international Zurich Group

Do you have a strong understanding of business management, as well as concrete programming, (big) data or AI knowledge? Then apply now if you also have the following qualifications:
  • Your CV includes a degree in business informatics, physics, mathematics, computer science or a comparable completed course of study
  • You have several years of practical experience in brainstorming, designing and implementing initiatives and projects using AI-supported methods and tools
  • You can convince with very good knowledge of common cloud-based data & AI platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure, Databricks and Informatica Data Catalog; You should also be familiar with common quality metrics for data management and AI
  • You have already gained experience in leading highly specialized teams (e.g. data scientists, cloud engineers)
  • Your strengths include the ability to work in a team and work with data analysts in various specialist areas as well as IT teams from all areas
  • Your convincing and credible appearance with a strong passion for the possibilities around AI and data, as well as presentation-proof English round off your exciting profile
