Job Description

As a (Senior) DevOps Engineer (m/f/d), you will primarily be involved in SDN and API integration - you will be closely involved in the consulting, testing and automation processes. In customer projects, you and the team will develop software solutions for automated network operation and secure networks - while not losing sight of the goal: Infrastructure as Code to automate configurations in the network. Your experience in programming and debugging (of Python, operating systems and networks) as well as expert knowledge in the area of ​​Ansible (including CI/CD based on Gitlab (pipelines), Docker, Kubernetes) will help you. The result is the automation of configuration and the protection of critical infrastructures against attacks. We would be happy if you would get involved in theory and practice!

Your tasks

  • Operation and creation of deployment specifications
  • Provision, further development and improvement of continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Automation of config management using continuous delivery
  • Scripting in simulation environments
  • Configuration and operational operation of container solutions and their orchestration systems
  • Supporting software development in dealing with container solutions and their orchestration systems
  • Configuration and operational operation of persistence and messaging technologies
  • Collaboration in compliance with data protection and ISO-relevant requirements
  • High service orientation
  • Participation in on-call services (2nd line)

Your profile

  • Completed studies or comparable training in the IT environment and verifiable 5 years of professional experience in the area of ​​DevOps or software development
  • very good knowledge of programming and scripting (e.g. with Ansible, Terraform, Packer or Python, Go, Java) as well as familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. Bitbucket, Github, JFrog, ArgoC)
  • Experienced use of the orchestration tools Kubernetes and Docker
  • Confident work in the Linux environment (e.g. RedHat, Ubuntu)
  • In love with technology and have a great interest in current technological developments as well as enjoy exploring and using new tools and functionalities
  • Front-end experience with TypeScript or vue.js is an advantage, but not required
  • Hands-on mentality for a proactive and pragmatic approach
