Your tasks

  • You will take care of setting up, maintaining and optimizing the infrastructure and data pipelines to store, process and manage data efficiently and reliably
  • You perform data quality checks to identify and resolve problems
  • You optimize queries and fine-tune systems to improve performance
  • You will diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the data stack as L3 support
  • They help migrate the remaining on-prem tables and jobs to the cloud
  • You will interact with the Data Product Owner, Power BI Specialist, Business Analyst and other data experts to set up and configure the necessary data systems and infrastructure
  • You define and document data structures, standards and best practices
  • They help data consumers understand the available data and its intricacies

Your skills

  • Experience with cloud data warehousing solutions and databases such as Azure Synapse and Data Lake
  • Good programming skills, especially in languages ​​such as SQL and PySpark
  • Deep understanding of ELT processes and data modeling
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and their data related services
  • Familiarity with handling sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and professionalism
  • (Nice to have) Proficiency in big data tools and frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
  • A strong customer orientation
  • You are a team player with a high sense of responsibility, initiative and 100% willingness for continuous development
