We are currently looking for a

Data Engineer (m/f/d) for sustainable IT

for the Cloud Business Unit nationwide.
Location: You can work from home.

Are you looking to pursue a career in Data Engineering? As a Data Engineer (m/f/d), you will be part of a team that assists clients in making the right business decisions based on comprehensive data insights. Your role involves processing data, including but not limited to collecting, managing, and visualizing data. Your expertise will support various clients in data management and achieving sustainability goals, such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Data extraction, integration, analysis, and modeling using various tools and methods.
  • Managing large datasets including data cleaning, transformation, and optimization.
  • Data visualization to support business analysis and decision-making processes.
  • Consulting on data analytics solutions and coordinating with teams and clients to deliver targeted data packages.
  • Participating and contributing in internal expert communities.

What you bring:

  • A degree in Computer Science, another STEM field, or related area.
  • Skills in Python, SQL, MySQL, Excel, and PowerBI.
  • At least two years of experience in data modeling and visualization, as well as KPI reporting.
  • Experience with scope emission and conversion of CO2 emissions.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration tools.
  • Proficient in English, German language knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, persuasive ability, and openness to new perspectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant practical experience.
  • Experience with big data technologies and innovative approaches such as generative AI is desirable.
