Job Description

ANavS – Advanced Navigation Solutions develops precise positioning systems, precise mapping systems and snow monitoring systems. For that mission, it develops its own hardware and software products that combine multiple sensors like GNSS, inertial, odometry, UWB, camera and Lidar measurements and uses innovative positioning algorithms combined with AI methods. The products have a large range of applications including automotive, robotics, automation, maritime, railway, aerospace, agriculture, and mining industries.

We are a young, growing team and are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated individual for the position of System Administrator and DevOps Engineer. You will be responsible for the efficient management and optimization of our server infrastructure and DevOps pipelines and collaborate with all teams.

Your Core Tasks:

  • Network Configuration and VPN Management:
    • Configuration and monitoring of network settings on the router.
    • Management and optimization of VPN services for secure communication.
    • Allocation and monitoring of ports for hosted services.
  • Remote Lifecycle Management:
    • Development of remote lifecycle management tools for our products.
  • Git management and administration:
    • Active management of Git repositories, including user administration and permissions.
    • Implementation and maintenance of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
    • Administration of Git runners and assistance in integrating new development tools.
  • Backup Strategies and Data Security:
    • Implementation and monitoring of backup solutions for our server infrastructure.
    • Ensuring data security and integrity.
  • Management of server services:
    • Monitoring and administration of all Docker containers and services for development processes and cloud-based products
    • Development and scaling of applications in containerized environments.

Qualifications:

  • High motivation to contribute to learn new topics, ability to work independently and willing to adapt to flexible tasks
  • Knowledge of network configurations, VPN management, and port allocations.
  • Solid experience in Git repository management and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in managing Docker containers and containerized environments.
  • Competence in server backup and data security.
  • Team player with quick perception, reliability, and accuracy
  • Contributions to open-source projects (You're welcome to share links to your contributions / github account)
  • Experience in remote lifecycle management of products is advantageous.
