What does a media agency do?
We'll just explain it to you, because we assume you don't know what a media agency does. First and foremost, as a media agency, we advise our customers on the placement of advertising in the media. While a creative agency designs spots, ads, banners or posters, as a media agency we place this advertising in TV commercials, magazines, on the radio, on websites, posters or on social media. Our tasks as a media agency include researching target groups and analyzing their media usage. We advise our customers on the selection of suitable media, negotiate prices and display the advertising in the selected channels. We work with customers such as Bauhaus, Hyundai Kia, Nintendo, O2, Pernod Ricard, Puma, RedBull and Sparkasse.

Job Description:
What are your areas of responsibility?
  • You skillfully extract, transform and load data from various sources to create a solid foundation for meaningful analyses for management and other stakeholders.
  • You develop efficient data models for optimal storage and rapid analysis of company data.
  • You will also be responsible for automating data integration and transformation using tools such as Knime, thereby accelerating the analysis process.
  • To do this, you develop smart automation solutions to minimize repetitive tasks and increase business efficiency.
  • You specifically identify areas for optimizing data processing and analysis processes.
  • Continuous monitoring of data quality and proactive resolution of discrepancies
  • In general, you will work closely with other teams to provide data-driven insights for different business areas.
  • Of course, precise documentation of data models, processes and automation is always important for a transparent knowledge base.
What skill set do you bring with you?
  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, statistics or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with MSSQL databases and good SQL knowledge.
  • Optional: Experience in using ETL tools such as Knime or similar programs.
  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to work in an agile environment.
  • Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into effective data models.
  • You speak German fluently and English at a good level.
  • Experience in process optimization and implementation of automation solutions.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Optional: Experience in programming (e.g. Python, R, etc.)
  • Optional: Experience in the media industry
