What you do:
Are you passionate about analyzing complex data-driven questions and gaining new insights? As a Data Engineer (m/f/d) you will help our customers pave their way to a modern data platform and state-of-the-art architectures and technologies. Your tasks include:
- Analysis & Architecture: you will be responsible for requirements analysis and design of the architecture as well as the design of data architectures according to Data Vault, Hub and Spoke, Lambda and Kappa
- Migration: you take over and monitor the migration of existing data analytics solutions to the cloud
- Hands-on engineering: you are responsible for the implementation, optimization and operation of data platforms
- Consulting: You advise our customers on all aspects of data processing, cloud and DevOps and conduct PoCs, training courses and workshops at the customer's premises
What you need:
Are you structured and analytical when dealing with complex databases? Processing large data sets is no problem for you and you bring innovative solutions to the mass data business? Perfect! Then on the technical side you also need:
- Studies in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business informatics or similar
- Several years of hands-on experience in software development, data science or data engineering
- Advanced knowledge of Python, relational databases, Pandas, Apache Spark and SQL
- Understanding data governance and data quality
- Experience with data platforms, data services and architectures
- Experience in designing data solutions with Azure, AWS or other providers (e.g. Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, AWS Redshift and Databricks as well as Azure DevOps)
- Collaborative work with Git is part of your everyday life.
