The Advanced Analytics & Data Insights team within Global IT is the central Data & Analytics partner of the global Ottobock business. Duties & Responsibilities
We strongly believe in the power of data – from business intelligence to better & smarter MedTech products for our patients. For Ottobock, the journey of a data driven company is one of the top strategic business goals. As Power BI Report Designer and as part of this journey you will
- support working on governance guidelines for the Power BI environment
- create Power BI reports and support the migration from other BI tools
- support the administration of the Power BI environment with
- configuring security settings and user access
- monitoring system performance
- ensuring data security and privacy
- support users in implementation questions and consult for best practices regarding report design, implementation, and way of working
- monitor the Power BI Digital Community
- identify current Power BI related enterprise needs (gateways, connectors, common user issues. etc.)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as Power BI report designer
- Experience with relational databases and data modeling
- Project management skills
- First experience as Power BI Global Admin is a plus
- First experience in working with Power Shell, Power BI Rest API is a plus
- Knowledge and experience in related Azure services preferred
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud or similar environments is a plus
- Experience with SAP BW is a plus
- Fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus
- Ability to work in a self-organizing environment and eagerness to learn continuously
