Topic: Development of a prototype for machine learning based position detection

Contents:

    • Further development of a new concept in the field of machine learning for the positioning of inductive charging systems.
    • Development of a rapid prototyping approach to accelerate the development process of embedded systems.
    • Conception and implementation of neural networks at model level for embedded systems
    • Development and commissioning of a printed circuit board to transfer the technology to the next technological maturity level

Tasks

    • You plan and work on your own research project.
    • You are working on a new technology that offers room for innovation.
    • You research the scientific and technical basis required for the work.
    • You develop your own circuit board and test it in a modern, well-equipped laboratory.
    • You work in a modernly equipped laboratory.
    • You plan practical experiments, carry them out and evaluate the results.
    • You contribute your own ideas and create new solution concepts.

Requirements

    • Enrolled master student (m/f/d) in electrical engineering, electrical and information engineering, embedded systems or a related subject with practical experience.
    • Basic understanding of electronics, electromagnetic fields and signal processing.
    • Basic knowledge of the C programming language and embedded systems.
    • Initial experience in dealing with machine learning and training neural networks.
    • Experienced in using MATLAB/Simulink.
    • Experience in handling experimental setups and data analysis.
    • Independent working style and strong analytical skills.
    • Good communication skills in German and/or English.
