Data Scientist (m/f/d)
We are a young and dynamic company based in the center of Würzburg. We create tailor-made data science solutions for companies and rely on over 10 years of experience in the field of data science and predictive analytics. The goal of our consulting team is to find or develop the right solution for every data-based problem our customers face. Our expertise is distributed across an interdisciplinary team of employees from various backgrounds (mathematics, computer science, physics, economics and software development).
Our projects are diverse and always bring new challenges. You won't find routine with us. Methodologically and technologically, we are always open and up to date - we expect the same from you. Your tasks
- You design and implement solutions to our customers’ data-based problems.
- You analyze data sets and develop methods for automated result generation.
- You implement solutions in R, Python, SQL, Kafka, Java etc.
- You visualize data and results.
- You create and edit (management) presentations in German and English.
- You communicate results to our customers, the team and management.
Ideally, you bring this with you
- A university degree in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics or similar.
- Professional experience in a data science environment.
- Very good knowledge of German and English (at least B2 or higher)
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Knowledge of statistics and machine learning.
- Strong social and communication skills and enjoyment of working in a team.
- Ability to work independently.
- Very good knowledge of R or Python, ideally also another programming language (e.g. Java, .Net, C).
- Knowledge of database administration, modeling and data warehousing.
- Ideally, cloud experience (e.g. Azure, AWS) and experience with git.
- Ability to present complex relationships and results clearly
- Reliability, flexibility and resilience.
- Willingness to help, courage and honesty
- Willingness to travel within Germany and possibly abroad.
