We are looking for a dedicated employee for company-wide data management in relation to BCBS 239!

In this forward-looking role, you are responsible for the interpretation, further development and monitoring of the BCBS 239 guidelines. You ensure compliance with the Kreissparkasse's level of ambition and assess whether changes to the regulatory requirements require an adjustment of the risk strategy. You are the competent contact person for regulatory issues relating to BCBS 239 in the Kreissparkasse.

Your role:

  • Interpretation, further development and monitoring of guidelines for compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Responsibility for compliance with the ECB
  • Central contact person for senior administrative bodies, the executive board, management, as well as addressee-oriented communication with the supervisory authority and auditors on BCBS 239 relevant topics
  • Monitoring changes in regulatory requirements and checking whether these require an adjustment of the risk strategy
  • Maintenance and updating of the associated frameworks
  • Coordination of target scenarios and guidelines for the implementation of BCBS 239 and advice to the implementing units
  • Accompanying new product and change management processes in projects and line activities
  • Support in processing findings from internal and external auditors
  • Targeted information and training of all employees regarding relevant regulatory requirements

This is what makes you special:

  • Completed studies in “STEM” subjects, business administration or economics with professional experience, ideally in data processing and reporting
  • Interest in setting up and developing a competence centre based on regulatory requirements
  • Experience in data management including data quality management, metadata management, data governance and data architecture
  • Good understanding of the technical relationships between data and data aggregations used for report creation and reporting (ideally in the context of risk management, finance, reporting or overall bank management)
  • Knowledge of different regulatory requirements
  • Specific knowledge in the areas of IT, data processing and reporting is an advantage
  • Ideally know-how from savings bank environment
  • Willingness to independently familiarise yourself with new topics and areas of responsibility
