For our AI Products & Services team, we are looking for an AI Engineer (m/f/d) at the Berlin location on a permanent full-time or part-time basis as soon as possible.

Your tasks

  • As a member of our AI Products & Services division, you will support the development of innovative products and modern AI applications for use in schools
  • You develop and implement AI solutions that enable our customers to do their work more efficiently and with higher quality, thereby helping to improve the quality of education
  • You are not afraid to work in the engine room of AI applications to ensure that the AI ​​applications run smoothly and stably
  • You test and optimize the developed AI solutions based on user feedback and performance indicators
  • You live the agile development process, in which you think along and contribute your ideas and expertise to an open error culture
  • AI solutions include in-house developments, where you support the entire machine learning process: from collecting and preparing the data, to training and evaluating the models, to using them in a productive environment

Your profile

  • You have an interest in AI applications in the field of linguistics / natural language processing in the field of education and foreign languages
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in developing AI solutions or the practical use of machine learning in the cloud (AWS, Azure, OpenAI, etc.)
  • You have a degree in computer science, AI, machine learning, data science or a comparable qualification
  • You have solid software engineering skills and knowledge of design patterns, clean code, SCRUM development process and test-driven development (TDD)
  • You are very familiar with the Python programming language and are familiar with frameworks such as FastAPI, LangChain, spaCy, PyTorch, TensorFlow
  • You are characterized by an independent and pragmatic way of working as well as the motivation for continuous further training
  • You have very good knowledge of English and German (at least C1 in each case)
  • You are exceptionally empathetic with yourself, your colleagues and your target group
