Your tasks

  • As a (Senior) Data Scientist, you will drive exciting and challenging advanced analytics projects in the savings bank context as a project manager.
  • You will independently develop models with MLOps for use cases in the areas of forecasting, classification, recommendation and scoring.
  • Data engineering and consideration of regulatory requirements for AI are also part of your responsibilities.
  • You will work in our interdisciplinary team, particularly in direct sparring with an in-house consultant, in order to best combine your methodological know-how with the (banking) technical requirements.
  • You are a role model for your junior colleagues and provide them with professional guidance.

We wish for this

  • You have a completed degree in economics, computer science, mathematics, physics or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through relevant professional experience.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of advanced analytics and data science with the ability to identify relevant relationships from large amounts of data and derive recommendations for action.
  • You have strong conceptual and analytical skills and experience with established data mining methods (predictive modeling, clustering, classification, random forests, etc.).
  • You have sound and practical knowledge of SQL, programming (especially Python/R), statistical methods and are confident in using common databases (e.g. Exasol, DB2) and analysis software (e.g. SPSS Modeler).
  • Experience with Finanz Informatik’s KoALa analysis platform is an advantage but not necessary.
  • You are open to varied topics and activities and work independently and solution-oriented.
