Job Description
In the "digital ecosystem" business area, Eintracht took a unique path with EintrachtTech - all central systems were recreated using our own software development, so that Eintracht now has one of the best digital infrastructures in European sport. New B2C and B2B business models and services for fans are being created around the heart of our platform strategy - the Eintracht app "mainaqila". To support our innovative work, we are looking for reinforcements in the area of business intelligence and data engineering as soon as possible.
WHAT TASKS YOU CAN EXPECT WITH US
- Development of the strategic direction and architecture of the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics area
- Active development of the technology and data architecture in the area of BI and data analytics
- Conception, further development and implementation of the BI and data strategy to develop new business models and potentials through systematic testing/PoCs up to operationalization
- development of machine learning and AI models
- Target group creation for internal and external stakeholders as well as data visualization and reporting in the form of BI dashboards
- Continuous exploration of new technologies in the field of data analytics and engineering with a view to their possible use along existing processes and business models
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- Successfully completed studies in business informatics, computer science, mathematics, statistics or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in the field of business intelligence, data engineering or data science
- Solid knowledge of BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) and SQL for data query and analysis
- Experience with programming languages such as Python in data processing, from cleaning and transformation to analysis and modeling
- Basic understanding of machine learning, including experience in training and evaluating models
- Knowledge of the cloud environment (e.g. MS Azure) with a focus on analytical applications (e.g. MS Fabric, Synapse, ML Studio or similar) is an advantage
- Extensive experience in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills to clearly present complex analyses and results to non-technical stakeholders
- High degree of care in handling data and conscientiousness in preparing and publishing analyses
