Business Data Engineer / Data Analyst (m/f/d)

• Maintenance and optimization of existing BI data architecture, ETL processes as well as Power BI data models and reports
• Design and development of additional data pipelines to feed, clean, transform and integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse
• Monitoring data quality, accuracy and completeness to ensure that reports and analyses in areas such as sales, marketing and finance are reliable and trustworthy
• Ensuring that the data infrastructure is scalable, secure and reliable and enables seamless integration into business processes
• Creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation on data definitions, business rules and data governance
• Create, manage and update dashboards and reports for important business data and KPIs in Power BI
• Identification and prioritization of improvement potential based on current business requirements of the specialist departments

• Successful completion of a degree in computer science, business informatics, statistics, business mathematics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the areas of data analysis or data engineering, preferably in connection with the systems MS Navision or MS Dynamics 365, ideally in the financial environment
• Experience in using common tools of the ETL process (Visual Studio, SQL, REST/SOAP API, GIT)
• Knowledge of financial data models and their reporting requirements with a focus on accounting, as well as experience in dealing with company-wide data
• Knowledge of Power BI and Python is an advantage
• Fluent German (C1 level) and English, both written and spoken
