Senior Analyst/Engineer (m/f/d) in the field of IT Data Analytics & Integration

for our head office in Monheim am Rhein

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Conception of stable solutions and implementation of business intelligence and data management requirements from the areas of finance & controlling, customer & product management/marketing, corporate management and quality management, among others.
  • In close cooperation with our specialist departments, you analyze the business intelligence and data management requirements.
  • You create technical concepts and user stories and implement them.
  • You implement stable and high-performance solutions in the existing on-premises and cloud system landscape and ensure smooth and low-maintenance operation and support.
  • You ensure the stability and quality of BI operations in 2nd and 3rd level support and assist with the administration of our BI tools.
This is what the job's tasks would have looked like 1-2 years ago, and many of them will certainly still be part of our daily routine at the beginning. You are the right person for us if you want to design and put the new possibilities of machine learning and artificial intelligence into practice.

What you bring with you:

  • You have several years of professional experience in the field of Microsoft Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Data Integration. You have also already had your first encounters with machine learning.
  • In addition, you have several years of experience in modeling ETL routes (for the development of data warehouses or data integration).
  • You impress with in-depth knowledge of setting up relational databases, connecting data sources as well as data preparation and provision (e.g. SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure DWH, Azure Data Lake, Fabric).
  • You also have experience in modeling OLAP data models (e.g. SSAS Tabular or Multi-Dimensional).
  • Expert knowledge in using SAP at database level, Pentaho and Power BI is a must.
  • Knowledge of programming languages ​​such as Python or R to process and analyze data is a given for you.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (at least C-level) make you the perfect addition to our team.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration or a related field.
