Data Warehouse Architect (f/m/d)

• Design, manage and optimize a scalable and cost-effective data, BI and ML architecture that covers the analytical requirements with the relevant tools (storage, compute, visualization).
• Implement and optimize data models using common DWH methods such as 3NF, Data Vault, Dimensional Models or OBT to enable efficient analysis and reporting.
• Develop technical solution designs in close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers and BI consultants.
• Create data governance and security policies (e.g. access controls, data protection) and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Implement and actively share best practices for data warehousing, ELT development and reporting.
• Create and maintain technical documentation on BI architecture, data architecture, data models and processing processes.
• Continuously align the BI architecture closely with the corporate architecture and the operational IT areas.

• In-depth knowledge of tools and ecosystems of modern data stacks (ETL, storage and compute, reporting and analytics) as well as architectural frameworks.
• Excellent knowledge of common DWH modeling approaches (e.g. 3NF, Data Vault, Dimensional Models).
• Solid experience in (EL)T development with SQL and dbt.
• Very good knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, GCP) including strategies for cost and performance optimization.
• Strong communication and visualization skills.
• Familiarity with tools such as Git, Prefect (scheduling) and SLED (data catalog and lineage).
