Your manager, Christoph Nickel, looks back on his professional career with 25 years of experience in software development, IT management and DevOps. Christoph started at Sprengnetter in 2019 and has developed into a manager with us.

Your tasks

  • Ensuring the operation of our IT services with requirements for high availability, scalability, stability and security
  • Further development of our monitoring concepts and implementation of these in practice
  • Responsibility for the development and further development of the build and deployment pipelines
  • Transferring on-premise systems to a holistic cloud environment
  • Creation, systematic and traceable maintenance of operational documentation
  • Communication and collaboration with our customers and internal stakeholders
  • Collaboration in technical subprojects

Your profile

  • Extensive experience in DevOps topics and willingness to contribute this to a cross-team
  • Sound knowledge of operating highly available system architectures and database systems (e.g. PostgresSql, MongoDB, MariaDB)
  • Technologie-Stack: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker
  • Analytical thinking, solution-oriented and structured approach
  • Motivation and independent, proactive working style, clear customer orientation
  • good written and spoken German and English skills
