Machine Learning Engineer*

You will take over these services

• You advise a team of seven ML engineers working in a sub-team of three people specializing in the development and maintenance of reusable components
• You actively support the development of an agile team and show openness towards new processes and ways of working
• You develop new components, including automated data ingestion, ML lifecycle management and documentation tools, and optimize existing components with new features and improvements
• You are responsible for supporting users (mainly data scientists and other ML engineers) by solving problems, handling requests and ensuring effective use of the developed components
• You create and maintain comprehensive user and developer documentation to promote the usability and acceptance of the components
• You participate in peer reviews to ensure compliance with high quality standards within the team
• You design and implement comprehensive test suites to ensure the reliability, robustness and high quality of all components while ensuring uniform standards throughout the entire development cycle

What you bring with you

• You have solid experience working with GitLab CI/CD and are able to create and manage efficient pipelines
• Your Python knowledge is comprehensive and you are proficient in developing clean, maintainable and powerful code structures
• You have experience in using Kubernetes and are familiar with the orchestration and management of container-based applications
• With Argo Workflows and Argo CD you can automate workflows and efficiently manage CI/CD processes
• You are familiar with using jinja2 and Copier to create and manage templates
• You have knowledge of Terraform and are experienced in defining and deploying infrastructure as code
• In addition, you have excellent written and spoken German and English skills
