Your tasks as a Data Engineer (m/f/d):

• Systematic development of data structures and processing as the basis for our algorithms, analyses and processes
• Development of predictive analytics solutions to forecast key campaign KPIs such as opening, click and conversion rates
• By segmenting customers and analyzing usage patterns, you can derive targeted marketing and product strategies
• You use Generative AI to improve the user experience and automate various product areas
• You use machine learning models to distinguish between real and automated clicks, for personalization or anomaly detection
• Optimization of data pipelines and support of the entire life cycle of machine learning models - from data preparation to modeling to productive operation
• You work closely with software development, product owners and other stakeholders to develop and scale data-driven solutions
• Continuous review and improvement of the developed solutions through model monitoring, performance optimization and error analysis

Knowledge and experience you bring with you:

• You have in-depth knowledge of machine learning and data analysis
• You have a confident and secure command of relevant tools and frameworks such as Python, Pandas, LangChain and TensorFlow
• You are familiar with data storage/transformation (SQL, NoSQL, big data technologies) and data visualization/reporting (e.g. matplotlib, Plotly)
• You have a basic understanding of software development processes (CI/CD, containerization and version control) and, ideally, have already gained knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure
• You are familiar with the scaling and operational options of machine learning solutions
• You already have experience with agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban) and working with interdisciplinary teams (product owner, software development, UX)
• Your strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly set you apart
• You have a good command of written and spoken German. If you also have knowledge of English, that is an advantage
