your task
You develop personalization and recommender models in batch and real-time contexts and ensure the production and operation of the models together with your colleagues in the product team.

You use your data science and ML knowledge to develop solutions for exciting use cases, find the right method to solve concrete business problems and think through use cases from A to Z.
You support less experienced colleagues in their development and pass on your knowledge.

You work in an agile team consisting of product managers, data scientists and data and software engineers. Together you are responsible for the development, implementation and operation of technically high-quality personalization algorithms.
The Personalization team is part of our AI & Data Science domain, which is responsible for the development of statistical and machine learning models as well as generative AI solutions for bonprix.

You actively contribute your ideas and, together with your product team, shape the further development of personalization at bonprix. You independently test and evaluate innovative methods and technologies. You take responsibility for the models used and design the growing portfolio of personalization models.

You have completed a degree, preferably in data science, (business) mathematics, computer science or a comparable qualification.
your experience
You have several years of relevant professional experience in the field of data science in a business context. You have already implemented several machine learning products in productive data and business processes. Nice2Have. Initial experience in the field of recommender systems and personalization.
your skills
You have in-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms and methodologies as well as common machine and deep learning frameworks and libraries. You regularly acquire new skills and the necessary information on data science methods from the literature and have very good Python knowledge. You also have a good command of SQL (especially BigQuery) and have good written and spoken English skills.
your soft skills
You are curious and open to learning or exploring new things. You also want to work as a team player in a cross-functional, agile team and enjoy developing innovative solutions for demanding business use cases. With a strong affinity for data and a thirst for research, you communicate complex issues clearly, appear confident and impress with your communication skills.
