The Data, Analytics & AI division is an essential part of the Witt Group's CIO organization and plays a crucial role in the company's IT strategy. As Division Manager, you will lead the division with a team of around 50 employees, both technically and disciplinarily, at our locations in Weiden and Karlsruhe.
In this position, you and your team will drive the digital transformation of the Witt Group and support our growth. You will take care of the strategic direction of our analytics systems, AI platforms and data strategy. With your practical approach and your passion for data, analytics and artificial intelligence, you will demonstrate the possibilities that the use of AI applications opens up for the further development of the Witt Group.

Your tasks
- Responsible for the strategic direction and development of the Witt Group's analytics systems and AI initiatives
- Translate the business strategy into departmental goals and transfer the IT, data, BI/analytics and AI strategy into concrete projects and operational measures
- Lead the overall technical responsibility for the further development and optimization of a future-proof DWH/BI, MDM and AI platform
- Observe market trends and technology developments and use suitable technologies to further expand your market position
- Lead the organizational and strategic management of the department, promote appropriate working methods and accompany change processes
- Lead and develop the department further and take over talent management, team and employee development as well as budget responsibility
- Work closely with the CIO and other IT departments
Your profile
- Successfully completed Master's degree in computer science or comparable qualification
- Many years of professional experience in strategic and operational IT roles, including proven leadership experience in an international environment
- Several years of experience in the field of business intelligence, data management, artificial intelligence as well as a good overview of relevant technology stacks in the areas of BI, MDM, DWH and AI
- Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High communication and persuasion skills combined with a high degree of empathy and the ability to motivate people and strengthen teams

- Fluent German and English skills as well as strong intercultural competence
