As a (Senior) Data Analyst (m/f/d) you are a key person for the data-driven decision-making of our customers and internal teams. You define relevant key figures, design data-based processes and visualize complex data in close cooperation with our customers and customer engineers. You also work on innovative use cases for artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI). Your goal is to provide well-founded insights, drive strategic decisions and generate sustainable added value.

As part of our Cloud Build Team, you are responsible for:
  • Key figure definition and derivation: You identify and define relevant key figures, derive them from existing data and develop a deep understanding of our customers' data landscape.
  • Complex analyses: You carry out sophisticated analyses, including the application of machine learning models.
  • Dashboard development: You design and develop interactive dashboards that present complex data in an understandable and action-oriented manner.
  • Building semantic layers: You design and implement semantic layers using technologies such as dbt or LookML.
  • Strategic consulting: You advise our customers and internal teams on topics such as KPIs, BI, self-service and data governance.
  • Implementation of the data-driven approach: You live the data-driven approach and contribute your analytical expertise to enable decisions based on solid data.

Your convincing overall package
  • You have successfully completed a degree, e.g. in the field of computer science or business informatics or a comparable qualification
  • You have solid professional experience in data analytics, ideally in a comparable role
  • You have very good SQL knowledge, experience with databases (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift) and a confident use of visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau)
  • You have excellent knowledge and experience in creating meaningful data visualizations
  • You have successfully worked on projects in which data played a central role
  • You have experience with cloud technologies, ideally with Google Cloud
  • Your work is characterized by a sense of responsibility and quality as well as solution orientation

  • You have already worked with Google Cloud (e.g. BigQuery) and Google Analytics
  • You already have experience working with dataflows (e.g. dbt, DataForm)
  • You have good Python knowledge
  • You have already gained experience with the application of machine learning / AI models
