For our Data Office department in the CIO Office directorate at the Munich location, we are looking for the following as soon as possible: Data Analyst / Community Manager (m/f/d) in full-time (40 hours/week).
Data is a central resource for GEMA and its business processes. Our mission is to enable the development of high-quality data products and insights for the music industry and to make the use of data efficient and secure. A decentralized data platform, an active data community and a modern, self-service-focused data governance model play a crucial role in our mission. In this position, you have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues and at the same time contribute your own ideas in an innovative environment. Together with us, you will shape the future of our data-driven culture.
🎶 Music brings us small moments of happiness and big feelings. At concerts, in clubs or via streaming providers. Music has its value! We at GEMA are convinced of this. Anyone who composes a song, writes lyrics or publishes works is entitled to fair remuneration. Whenever and wherever these works are performed publicly, broadcast commercially on radio or television, recorded on a medium, streamed via digital platforms or otherwise distributed, reproduced or used, it is only fair that their authors share in the revenue. GEMA is a commercial association that represents the interests of over 95,000 members. These include composers, lyricists and music publishers. As one of the largest authors' societies for musical works in the world, we protect the rights of these music creators in Germany and the rights of over two million rights holders from all over the world. We are committed to ensuring that these music authors receive an appropriate share of the income from the performance of their works and that they can concentrate fully on their creative work. We conclude the contracts with the music users and collect the remuneration. We then distribute this money to our members as royalties. In this way, we promote and enable a lively music culture in Germany and beyond. Because: "Music is important to us." You can find our mandatory information (legal notice and data protection) on our careers page at the bottom of the page.
