For our Data Office department in the CIO Office directorate at the Munich location, we are looking for the following as soon as possible: Data Analyst / Community Manager (m/f/d) in full-time (40 hours/week).

Data is a central resource for GEMA and its business processes. This is where the action takes place – your area of ​​operation:

  • Operationalization of data governance: You review and process inquiries about current and future data products. You also support the implementation and further development of processes related to the development of data products.
  • Community Management: You plan and moderate data-driven exchange formats and manage an active, growing data community.
  • Documentation & Standards: You help to create and maintain guidelines, standards and documentation for data processing.
  • Analysis & Visualization: You support the creation of data analyses and develop dashboards that create transparency about our data landscape.
  • Enabling & Support: You are the contact person for teams and departments regarding the use and development of data products.
  • Platform Development: You support the integration and adoption of new features in our data platform, e.g. AI features such as “talk to your data”.
  • Collaboration: You work closely with interdisciplinary teams of data experts, specialist departments, IT and platform engineers on strategic data projects.

Consistent – ​​Your qualifications:

  • You have completed a degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, business informatics, mathematics, statistics, communication science) or a comparable qualification.
  • Initial experience in data analysis (e.g. through internships or working student positions) is an advantage.
  • You have basic knowledge of data processing (e.g. with Python, Spark or SQL) and would like to develop further in this area.
  • Knowledge of BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) and data tooling (e.g. Databricks, BigQuery, Pandas) is a plus.
  • You enjoy exchanging ideas on data-driven topics and looking for solutions together.
