Your new tasks

  • Data integration & deployment: Building and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines to integrate structured and unstructured data from various sources and make it available to AI models
  • Data architecture & management: Design and implementation of databases, data lakes and data warehouses (Azure)
  • Data modeling: Development and optimization of data models to support ML and AI applications
  • Big Data & Streaming: Implementation of big data and real-time data solutions (e.g. Apache Spark, Kafka) to efficiently process high-volume data streams
  • Data quality & security: Ensuring data quality, governance and compliance (e.g. GDPR), as well as implementation of monitoring and security measures
  • Collaboration & Consulting: Close collaboration with AI engineers, data scientists and customers to understand data requirements and develop optimal solutions

This is what you bring with you

  • Completed studies in computer science, data engineering, business informatics or a comparable technical field
  • Several years of experience (at least 3 years) in the development of ETL processes, data integration and data management, ideally in an AI-related environment.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, Python and database technologies (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Snowflake)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and data engineering tools (e.g. Apache Airflow, dbt).
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop or Kafka is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with large amounts of data
  • Experience in data modeling as well as data warehousing and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate complex data concepts in an understandable manner
  • Fluent in spoken and written German and English
