This is the job

We are looking for you as a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) at the Aachen or Cologne location to develop Analytics & AI Use Cases at Generali Deutschland AG.

  • Together with data scientists and technical experts, you identify and analyze innovative use cases, develop solution concepts and put them into practice
  • You support your team in model development, create training pipelines, automate tests and deployments and ensure smooth operation
  • You combine the latest technologies from the AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Machine Learning Frameworks, Large Language Models, and our Data Marketplace (Snowflake) to create optimal solutions
  • You involve all stakeholders and interact with product owners, IT architects and IT governance to find the optimal solution

This is what we want

  • You have completed a degree in computer science, an IT training, or a comparable qualification and have good German language skills
  • You have already gained several years of experience as a software or DevOps engineer (m/f/d), ideally in the field of machine learning
  • You have practical experience in the tools and technologies relevant to us – especially Python, AWS Analytics Services (SageMaker, Bedrock), Docker and Kubernetes
  • You are familiar with Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and are familiar with the integration of DevOps tools (deployment, monitoring)
  • Agile approaches, e.g. Scrum and pair programming, as well as hybrid working are a matter of course for you
