Senior Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• You design, implement and optimize machine learning models for different use cases and ensure their scalability and performance through the development and use of MLOps pipelines
• You work with large data sets and use modern technologies such as Apache Spark and Hadoop to prepare and analyze the data for projects
• You lead and coach younger team members to promote their skills in machine learning development and share knowledge within the team
• You implement and maintain monitoring solutions for machine learning models to monitor their performance and ensure that they meet user requirements
• You work closely with your team and multidisciplinary teams, including data scientists, developers and business analysts, to plan and execute implementation projects and ensure that all stakeholders are informed and involved

Your profile

• After successfully completing your studies in computer science, physics or mathematics, you have gained 3-5 years of experience in implementing machine learning models in production-ready applications
• You have extensive practical experience in Python and SQL and are proficient in another programming language (e.g. Java)
• You are experienced in using machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow/Keras and PyTorch to implement and optimize models and have experience with large data sets (e.g. Apache Spark, Hadoop)
• You have extensive expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra) as well as graph databases (e.g. Neo4j) and can efficiently store and query complex data sets
• Your knowledge of model monitoring, hyperscalers (especially AWS, Azure, GCP) and governance components such as data catalogs and model registries to ensure model results sets you apart
• Your high level of initiative, ability to work in a team and very good German language skills characterize you
