Our agile Business Intelligence team helps our customers to harness, understand and trust complex business data – with the goal of supporting data-based decision-making processes.

Your tasks as BI Data Engineer (m/f/d):

  • You develop agile data products and pipelines in the Dara Lakehouse environment - in collaboration with data analysts, data scientists and stakeholders from IT and the specialist departments.
  • You use state-of-the-art technologies such as Dremio, Spark, Dataricks, Snowflake, Airflow, Data Fabric, dnt and other components.
  • You operate and continuously improve the data platforms and data processes, including by introducing data quality, governance and process monitoring.
  • You will carry out these tasks together with our customers on both classic on-premises platforms and in the cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google).
  • You are enthusiastic about cutting-edge concepts such as Data Mesh, Cloud Data Lakehouses and Stream Analytics.

Your profile as BI Data Engineer (m/f/d):

  • You have completed a university degree (MINT) or comparable training and have professional experience in a data warehousing or business intelligence environment.
  • You have very good knowledge of data engineering and programming with Python and SQL. Data modeling is also no foreign word to you.
  • You are experienced in dealing with data persistence technologies (e.g. databases or data lakes) and already have experience with data streaming (e.g. Kafka, Flink, Spark)
  • You take every opportunity to expand your skills and enjoy developing the data-driven future. For you, agility is a lived reality.
  • You are enthusiastic about new technologies and enjoy working on them with a lot of initiative and self-motivation.
  • You have excellent communication skills in German and English, are a talented organizer and enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams. In addition, you would like to be an active part of the joint design and direction of our Business Intelligence team.
