Tasks

• As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you develop and implement automated CI/CD pipelines to optimize the software delivery process and reduce deployment times, using tools such as GitHub, Argo CD, and methodologies such as GitOps.
• To ensure high availability and performance, you monitor and optimize the cloud infrastructure. You use monitoring tools such as Datadog, Azure Monitor, Prometheus or Grafana to detect problems early and resolve them.
• You work closely with development teams to understand infrastructure requirements and design appropriate solutions. Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Crossplane, Terraform and OpenTofu to implement reusable components.
• You will also be involved in implementing security measures and best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our data.
• You optimize the costs of the cloud infrastructure by continuously monitoring and adjusting resources.
• You use Azure Cost Management and other tools to identify savings potential.
• Your responsibilities also include assisting with the migration of on-premises applications to the cloud and ensuring that all systems are seamlessly integrated. You will also develop and implement migration strategies.
• To ensure smooth collaboration and knowledge transfer within the team, you document and configure all processes.
• The creation and maintenance of technical documentation and manuals rounds off your area of ​​responsibility.

Requirements

• You have completed a degree in computer science, information technology or a comparable qualification.
• You have already gained several years of experience in deploying and operating Azure infrastructure, including Virtual WAN and Azure Kubernetes Service.
• You have in-depth knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including GitOps, Crossplane and Argo CD.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges are no obstacle for you.
• You are already very familiar with troubleshooting and optimizing IT infrastructures.
• You have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders. You also have experience working with development teams and other technical departments.
• Azure certifications (Azure Administration AZ-104, Azure Developer AZ-204, Azure Solutions Architect AZ-305, Azure Security Engineer AZ-500) are an advantage for you.
• You are willing to participate in on-call duty.
