Software Engineer / Java Fullstack Developer
Your tasks:
- Development of cloud-based and service-oriented solutions for international use in the industrial insurance business
- Use of various frameworks (Spring Boot, Angular, Vaadin) and technologies to develop and integrate the necessary software components using current architectural concepts
- Establishing a maximum level of automation for multi-regional operation of services in the Azure Cloud using Infrastructure-as-Code
- Continuous and sustainable optimization of our services, tools and processes
- Close collaboration with other developers, business analysts and subject matter experts in a Scrum team
Your profile:
- Several years of practical experience in development with at least one higher programming language, preferably Java
- In-depth knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, e.g. PostgreSQL or Azure Cosmos DB
- Knowledge in the development and operation of applications on cloud technologies, preferably Kubernetes and Microsoft Azure
- High quality awareness with a feel for clean software architecture, clean code, usability, automated testing and functioning CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
- Enthusiasm, curiosity and passion for new technologies, combined with a high interest in personal development
- Openness and courage as well as the willingness to give and receive feedback regularly
