You will develop the technological foundation for a multi-tenant, cloud-native data platform that supports both operational BI requirements and future-oriented AI use cases :

• Development and operation of a scalable data & analytics platform based on Lakehouse
• Development of high-performance, maintainable data pipelines (batch and streaming)
• Providing curated, versioned data products for reporting and AI
• Integration of Power BI and other BI systems
• Preparation and enrichment of training and real-time data for machine learning
• Close collaboration with Product, BI and Data Science
• Ensuring governance, performance and multi-tenancy

Technological competence

• Experience with modern lakehouse technologies such as Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg or Hudi
• Sound knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT and data architecture
• Practical experience with Apache Spark, dbt, Airflow, Kafka or Flink
• Confident in SQL and Python , ideally also with Java/Scala
• Cloud expertise (Azure, AWS, GCP) including CI/CD, IaC, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ideally experience in data preparation for AI/ML processes

BI and analytics capability

• Good understanding of the requirements of Power BI, Tableau or Qlik
• Experience with semantic layers, KPIs and data provision for analysis purposes
• Knowledge of data quality, data validation and performance optimization

Soft skills

• Analytical thinking, structured work, high level of personal responsibility
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration – between tech, data science & business
• Team spirit and curiosity about new technologies
• Experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban)
