The DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH organizes, markets and develops German professional football as an umbrella organization.

We are the Data & Analytics department. In your new team, we will design, develop, and operate the AI-centric data & analytics landscape with our partners within the DFL. At the end of our journey together, we will enable data-driven and AI-supported reports, decision support, and analytics at the touch of a button. We need you to make all of this possible!

We are looking for a

(Senior) Data Scientist (m/f/d)

Frankfurt am Main

From now on

Full-time (40 hours)

Limited to 2 years with the option of taking over

Your tasks

  • Development and implementation of scalable architectures for data-driven and AI-enriched applications
  • Conception, development and management of data-driven services and solutions for sports and business issues
  • Implementation of machine learning-based systems to create in-depth and non-trivial analyses
  • Ensuring model and statement quality
  • Supporting business departments with data visualization and data analysis in self-service
  • Evaluation of new technologies and methods to increase efficiency in data processing

This is what you bring with you

  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, data science or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in data architecture, business intelligence or machine learning
  • In-depth knowledge of Python, AWS, Azure, Git or comparable tools
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Familiar with ETL tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory, SSIS, dbt)
  • Understanding of data governance, data protection and security policies
  • Analytical thinking, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
