Data Management Consultant

Your tasks and responsibilities: As a Data Management Consultant, you are the backbone of our data strategy. Your task is to shape Amprion's data landscape and ensure that we as a company can make informed and rapid decisions. You will be part of a dedicated Data Governance team and be responsible for the further development of our data domains.

• Data Product Management: You will work with the business departments to develop high-quality data provision using our comprehensive data management/data governance framework, which includes metadata management, data modeling, data quality management, and data procurement.
• Stakeholder coordination and project management: You act as a bridge between business departments, data analysis teams, and IT, advise our stakeholders, and ensure the smooth implementation of our data governance implementation strategy and data projects.
• Strategic consulting: You support the adaptation of processes and derive recommendations for action to transform Amprion into a data-driven company.
• Data Governance Framework: You develop selected elements of Amprion’s Data Governance Framework.
• Training and workshops: You share your knowledge and expertise to inspire our employees about the world of data.

• Successfully completed studies in (industrial) engineering, economics, (business) informatics, data science, mathematics, physics or a comparable subject.
• Professional experience in data governance, data management or data analysis.
• Analytical thinking skills and a passion for data.
• A proactive, self-reliant and cooperative personality with strong communication skills.
• Team spirit and flexibility, enjoyment of interdisciplinary and intercultural collaboration.
• Excellent language skills in German and good language skills in English.
