Responsibilities

  • New Solution Development
      • Support the design and implementation of new data solutions related to share registration and de-registration with regional CSDs.
  • Legacy System Migration
      • Contribute to the migration of Mainframe-based systems to distributed platforms, primarily utilizing Python .
  • Production Support and Enhancements
      • Provide ongoing production support and contribute to system enhancements for projects maintained within the platform ecosystem.
  • Big Data Processing
      • Work with structured , semi-structured , and unstructured data within distributed environments, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Collaboration in Agile Teams
      • Engage actively with cross-functional Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban), supporting various phases of solution development and delivery.

Requirements

  • Python Proficiency
      • Strong experience in Python programming for data engineering tasks, including data processing and automation.
  • Database and Data Warehousing Knowledge
      • Solid background in database development , data warehousing , data pipelining , and distributed data processing .
  • Data Modeling Expertise
      • Thorough understanding of data modeling concepts applicable to modern data platforms.
  • Big Data and Data Architecture Familiarity
      • Experience with concepts such as Data Marts , Data Warehouses , Data Lakes , and Data Mesh .
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems in big data environments , applying analytical thinking effectively.
  • Data Handling Experience
      • Hands-on experience working with structured , semi-structured , and unstructured data .
  • Communication Skills
      • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) for effective communication within international teams.
  • Agile Methodologies
      • Experience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), contributing to project sprints and iterations.
