At the Pulheim-Brauweiler site, the transmission network is monitored and controlled by the system control team. Complex processes and applications support the system control team's staff in ensuring safe and stable network operation. These applications are developed and maintained by the network calculation team.
YOUR TASKS:-
Software development for network calculation applications in system management
-
Coordination and management of service providers
-
Development and management of CI/CD pipelines according to DevOps principles
-
Collaboration with users, developers, and project managers to implement new features

Continuous knowledge sharing within the team and mutual code reviews

structured documentation and presentation of processes and procedures
- A completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study; experience in software development (ideally Java, Python); experience with DevOps tools for CI/CD development (e.g. GitLab, JFrog, SonarQube, Ansible, Rancher)
- Knowledge of common communication protocols (ideally MQTT, HTTPS, SSH) and experience with container technologies is advantageous.
- Database knowledge (SQL and/or NoSQL, especially graph databases) is an advantage.
- Willingness to be available for flexible hours in Pulheim-Brauweiler, preferably several times a week
- Independent and results-oriented work style, a high degree of responsibility, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
