Job Description
Join our team as a Cybersecurity Engineer and help shape the security of tomorrow's digital solutions. As a key member of an agile and cross-functional environment, you will play an active role in the design, implementation, and operation of security measures to protect systems, applications, services, and data in modern technology landscapes. You bring a proactive mindset, sound technical expertise, and a passion for integrating security into engineering and operational processes while supporting secure digital and AI-powered solutions.
We are looking for you to strengthen our team as soon as possible on a full-time basis (40 hours per week) – ideally on-site in Graz, Vienna or Wels, with the possibility of working partly from home (3 days per week).
Your tasks
- You implement and maintain security measures for infrastructure, applications, cloud and hybrid environments.
- You manage security technologies such as IAM, Endpoint Protection, SIEM/Logging, encryption, monitoring, and network security solutions.
- You integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and work closely with architects, developers and operations teams according to DevSecOps principles.
- You support incident response activities, implement security hardening standards, and maintain operational security documentation and playbooks.
- You will contribute to secure AI-powered solutions and use AI-based security tools to improve monitoring, detection, and operational efficiency.
Your skills
- You have experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or infrastructure security, as well as a sound understanding of modern security technologies and best practices.
- You are familiar with cloud and hybrid security environments, CI/CD security practices, DevSecOps principles, and security monitoring processes.
- You have experience with security testing and penetration testing of web applications, APIs, infrastructure and cloud environments.
- You are characterized by analytical thinking, a proactive work style, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent teamwork skills in agile and cross-functional teams.
- You are interested in AI security concepts, API security, container security, or AI-powered security tools – ideally with practical experience.
- You have very good English skills (at least C1); experience with automation/scripting and German skills (at least B2) are an advantage.
